Job Description

Patient Support Associate -
Medical Office Location:
Cambridge, NY and Hoosick Falls, NY - must have the ability to travel between both locations. We are seeking a reliable and personable Patient Support Associate to assist with daily operations in our outpatient medical practice. This part-time opportunity is ideal for someone who enjoys interacting with patients, staying organized, and working collaboratively within a healthcare setting. The selected candidate will play an important role in helping patients navigate their visits while supporting both administrative and basic clinical workflows.
Position Highlights:
Part-time schedule, 24-30 hours per week Daytime office hours only Professional and team-oriented work environment Opportunity to grow within an established healthcare organization
Essential Duties:
Assist with patient check-in and appointment coordination Communicate with patients regarding scheduling, follow-ups, and general inquiries Update and maintain patient records within the electronic medical record platform Verify insurance information and assist with administrative paperwork Provide support to clinical staff with intake processes and vital signs Help ensure smooth daily office operations and patient flow Deliver courteous and professional customer service at all times
Qualifications:
Previous experience in a healthcare office preferred Experience in patient services, medical reception, care coordination, or medical assisting is a plus Comfortable working with EMR/EHR systems and standard office technology Strong communication and multitasking abilities Dependable, detail-oriented, and able to work independently when needed Positive attitude with a patient-first approach
Schedule:
Flexible part-time schedule consisting of 24-30 hours per week.
