Job Description

Position Summary:
Incumbent shall be responsible for providing a full range of therapy services in his/her respective discipline including assessment, treatment planning and therapeutic interventions in an interdisciplinary environment consistent with the position's qualifications, professional practices and ethical standards. Supervises and instructs support and assistive personnel in administering modalities and therapeutic equipment/exercise. Maintains responsibility for safety and care of patients, fellow employees and equipment. Demonstrates accountability for and contribution to program development, quality improvement, problem solving and productivity enhancement in a flexible interdisciplinary fashion. Responsible for annual clinical competencies and new employee competencies as well as student affiliations . Cooperates and consults with coworkers and Director to fulfill the goals of the department
Education, License & Cert:
Graduate of an accredited four‐year bachelors degree program (or foreign equivalent), and hold an applicable and current license in the state of practice with continued education efforts to enhance administrative and communicative skills.
Experience:
Five years' or more experience as a licensed Physical, Occupational or Speech Therapist required. Ability to make independent judgements and excellent planning and problem‐solving skills are required. Advanced interpersonal skills and the ability to perform at a consistently high level with minimal direct supervision or oversight. Previous Supervisory experience preferred.
Essential Functions:
1. Assist in the coordination of the clinical operations of the Rehab Department including staffing and scheduling changes. 2. Provide orientation to new employees and assist in the development and refinement of orientation tools. Coordinate mentor program for new staff. 3. Assist in planning, coordination and facilitation of monthly staff development programs and activities. 4 Coordinate student affiliations associated with those colleges and universities whom we have entered into clinical affiliation agreements and seek out new clinical affiliation sites as appropriate. 5 Track and maintain annual mandatory requirements for employees. 6 Facilitates and helps to monitor departmental/hospital‐wide Quality Improvement Activities by collecting quality review data as assigned, attending scheduled Meetings as assigned and utilizing reports/data to improve quality of care delivered 7 Is responsible for all duties as stated in the job description for Staff Physical or Occupational Therapist and must demonstrate the ability to act as a role model in carrying out these duties. 8. Functions as a resource for and provide team members with inservice training / cross‐training on Rehab knowledge and skills areas as appropriate. 9. Participates in hospital committees as requested by the Director and/or Assistant Director of HealthWorks Wellness & Fitness Center & Rehab Services 10. Ability to provide clinical and functional supervision of the Rehab Department with special emphasis on supervisory skills; management coaching will be provided by the Director of Rehabilitation Services. 11. Contribute to the development of improved efficiency and productivity of dept by offering positive suggestions/solutions to improve service delivery and dept operations in order to deliver cost effective care. 12. Contributes to and cooperates with the implementation of system improvements and offers to assist other staff and demonstrates flexibility in carrying out team functions including special projects.
Other Duties:
1. Travel for this position is sometimes required between Guthrie entities 2. Participation in community and employee engagement activities is required. 3. Rev:
2-3-2025 Pay Range min $48.08/hr max $76.16 #LI-RS1
