Job Description

Description:
Position Summary The F&CS Clinical Director will provide leadership and direction to a New York State Office of Mental Health (OMH) licensed Mental Health Outpatient and Rehabilitation Services (MHOTRS) program. In this outpatient mental health clinic, you will lead a team of 25+ therapists and clinical supervisors to ensure that community members at all life stages receive quality mental health services both in person and through remote telehealth services. The Clinical Director will oversee the effective delivery of services with an emphasis on evidenced based care, health equity, and compliance with all regulatory oversight bodies.
Requirements:
Key Responsibilities Clinical & Administrative Leadership:
Manage all therapy services, administrative functions, and regulatory requirements within the
NYS OMH MHOTRS
program.
Supervision & Staff Development:
Provide clinical and administrative supervision to clinic supervisors and therapists. Develop, organize, and facilitate ongoing professional development, training, and compliance activities for clinical staff.
Talent Acquisition:
Recruit, hire, and onboard therapists as needed, utilizing an equity, inclusion, and belonging lens.
Agency Collaboration:
Partner closely with members of the agency management team to align clinical operations with organizational goals.
Clinical Oversight & Risk Management:
Consult on the management of high-risk cases and ensure high-quality clinical documentation, including the efficient use of the agency's electronic health records system.
Community Engagement & Reporting:
Participate in relevant community groups, coalitions, and meetings. Contribute to agency communications, grant reporting, and stakeholder updates.
Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging:
Champions the organization's equity, inclusion, and belonging (EIB) values by embedding them throughout the clinic's policies and procedures.
