Responsibilities Greet patients warmly and assist with check-in procedures to create a welcoming atmosphere. Schedule, confirm, and reschedule patient appointments using medical administrative support systems. Collect and verify patient information, ensuring accuracy in medical records and insurance details. Communicate effectively with patients regarding pre-visit instructions and follow-up care. Support clinical staff by preparing patient charts, updating medical histories, and managing documentation with attention to detail. Handle phone inquiries professionally, providing information about services or directing calls to appropriate team members. Maintain a clean, organized front office environment while adhering to privacy regulations and confidentiality standards. Skills Proven experience working in a medical or dental office setting with familiarity in medical office procedures. Strong knowledge of medical terminology to accurately interpret and communicate health-related information. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask efficiently in a busy healthcare environment. Proficiency in medical administrative support software and office management tools. Effective communication skills to interact empathetically with patients and collaborate with healthcare professionals. Prior experience in dental office environments is a plus but not required. Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities while maintaining professionalism and attention to detail.
