Job Description

Overview Establish orthopedic practice in Manhattan's east side seeking a dependable, organized and personable individual to join our office team following the retirement of our longtime office manager after 30 years. Join a dynamic healthcare environment as a Orthopedic Practice Administrator l Office Manager, where you will lead the daily operations of a busy medical practice. This role combines administrative expertise with clinical understanding to ensure smooth clinic workflows, exceptional patient service, and efficient practice management. You will oversee office functions, manage financial processes, and support compliance with healthcare regulations. Your energy and organizational skills will drive the success of our practice, creating a welcoming atmosphere for patients and staff alike. Responsibilities Manage day to day office operation and daily clinic operations, including scheduling, patient flow, and staff coordination to optimize efficiency and patient satisfaction ina professional environment. Assisting with insurance and administrative duties. Manage fiscal responsibilities such as budgeting, billing, coding, and financial management using EMR (Electronic Medical Records) systems like Eclipse. Oversee medical administrative support functions including medical records management, HIPAA compliance, and documentation accuracy Lead human resources activities such as staff recruitment, training, performance evaluations, and ensuring adherence to healthcare management standards Handling billing and bookkeeping tasks using QuickBooks Utilize EMR/EHR systems effectively to maintain accurate patient records. Oversee office management tasks including supply procurement, equipment maintenance, bookkeeping and implementing office policies to support clinic operations Requirements Proven experience in medical office management or healthcare administration within a clinical setting such as, medical\orthopedic practices Strong knowledge of medical terminology, medical records management, HIPAA regulations, and EMR/EHR systems like Eclipse Demonstrated supervisory experience leading administrative or clinical teams in fast-paced environments Expertise in fiscal management including budgeting, financial reporting, billing procedures, and bookkeeping. Knowledge of QuickBooks preferred Familiarity with medical\orthopedic office experience is highly desirable Excellent organizational and communication skills with the ability to multitask efficiently while maintaining attention to detail Strong computer skills required Ability to work independently Bilingual/dual language skills are highly desirable We are looking for someone reliable, detail oriented and friendly who can become a valued long-term member of our practice.
