Job Description

Responsible and accountable for the supervision, planning, and coordination of all user support activities related to the hospital information clinical and ancillary systems, and revenue cycle applications. Implements strategic system objectives established by the organization and communicates the status of these activities to appropriate personnel. Influences policies that achieve health equity, promote wellness, and protect against inequity for people of marginalized and underrepresented communities. Strong understanding of healthcare regulatory standards and practices in a hospital and ambulatory setting.
Education/Training:
Bachelor's Degree in Clinical Informatics, Information Technology, or B.S. with equivalent work experience required. Ability to read, write, and communicate in
English Experience:
Minimum of five (5) years of experience in informatics, information system theory, or database management, and excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong healthcare background, with a solid understanding of data structures related to all hospital workflows. Familiar with web-based functionality through Intranet or Internet applications. Flexible and adaptive to changing roles and evolving job responsibilities. Strong interpersonal skills and ability to maintain effective working relationships with customers. Understanding of end user training requirements. Ability to present ideas in user-friendly language, self motivated and directed, with keen attention to detail, able to prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment, experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment, strong customer-service orientation. Epic experience required, certification preferred.
