Job Overview We are seeking an energetic and experienced Director of Clinical Services for our Home Health division. In this vital leadership role, you will oversee all clinical operations, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, compliant, and personalized home health services. Your expertise will drive excellence in nursing management, care planning, and regulatory adherence, fostering a compassionate environment that enhances patient outcomes and staff development. Duties Lead and supervise nursing staff, including nurse managers and direct care providers, to ensure optimal performance and patient care standards. Develop, implement, and review comprehensive care plans tailored to each patient's needs, incorporating medical terminology, physiology, anatomy knowledge, and documentation review. Oversee compliance with HIPAA regulations and ensure all medical records and documentation adhere to legal and organizational standards. Manage shift assignments and staffing schedules using EMR (Electronic Medical Records) and EHR (Electronic Health Records) systems to optimize resource allocation. Monitor quality assurance processes related to MDS (Minimum Data Set) assessments, Medicare requirements, and care documentation accuracy. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate hospice care, acute care services, assisted living facilities, nursing homes, and home health programs. Ensure staff receive ongoing training in nursing administration, HIPAA compliance, medical terminology, and relevant regulatory updates. Experience Proven management experience in home health or hospice care environments with demonstrated supervising capabilities. Extensive nursing background with knowledge of assisted living facilities, nursing homes, acute care settings, and home health services. Strong familiarity with EMR/EHR systems for documentation review and medical records management. Leadership experience in nurse management or nursing administration roles with a focus on shift management and team supervision. In-depth understanding of Medicare regulations, HIPAA compliance standards, medical terminology, physiology, and anatomy relevant to home health services. Excellent communication skills coupled with a proactive approach to problem-solving within fast-paced healthcare settings.
