Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and highly organized Medical Practice Administrator to lead the efficient operation of our healthcare facility. This pivotal role combines strategic oversight with hands-on management of daily clinical and administrative functions. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in medical office management, fiscal responsibility, and team supervision, ensuring the delivery of exceptional patient care while maintaining compliance with healthcare regulations. As a key leader, you will foster a collaborative environment that promotes operational excellence, financial sustainability, and high-quality service delivery across all departments. Responsibilities Oversee the daily operations of the medical practice, including clinical workflows, administrative procedures, and patient services. Supervise staff including medical administrative support personnel Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations such as HIPAA (Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act), and other relevant policies. Maintain accurate medical records using EMR (Electronic Medical Records) systems like Epic, AdvancedMd oversee documentation quality and confidentiality. Coordinate clinic operations including appointment scheduling, patient flow management, and utilization management to optimize patient experience and operational efficiency. Implement and monitor office management procedures related to medical terminology, insurance processing (managed care), billing practices, and medical records management. Utilize financial management tools for budgeting and cost control; analyze financial reports to identify opportunities for improvement. Lead efforts in clinic quality assurance initiatives to uphold standards of care and safety protocols aligned with healthcare regulations. Experience Proven experience in medical office management or healthcare administration within a clinical setting. Demonstrated supervisory experience managing multidisciplinary teams in a healthcare environment. Extensive knowledge of EMR/EHR systems such as Epic, AdvanedMd or similar platforms. Strong background in fiscal management including budgeting, financial reporting, billing cycles, and revenue cycle optimization. Familiarity with HIPAA compliance requirements and medical records confidentiality standards. Experience working in various healthcare settings such as acute care hospitals or outpatient clinics is highly desirable. Knowledge of medical terminology and clinical workflows across different specialties like nursing or dental practice is advantageous. $51,126.67 - $61,571.90 per year
