Job Summary:
Manages Hospital Information Systems staff and projects to provide service/support for information system user departments. Works directly with department managers, supervisors and end users to coordinate the implementation of hospital information systems, applications, and/or interfaces. Will oversee the building, testing, training, support, maintenance, and enhancements of all assigned information systems.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree and a minimum of five (5) years relevant experience (i.e. Information Systems, Project Management or Healthcare Management) to include 2 years of supervisory or project lead experience, plus strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills required.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience directly managing the implementation, optimization, and support of clinical applications, preferably with EPIC. Ability to act as a liaison between operational leadership and IMT teams to ensure all systems are maintained per established policies and procedures. Experience in assessing departmental needs in terms of workflow and technology recommendations to operational leadership for implementing new processes/systems or expanding current processes/systems to enhance patient and community experience.
