Job Summary:
The Operations Manager is responsible for oversight of day to day administrative operations in multiple assigned clinics in multiple assigned locations ensuring ongoing compliance with all regulatory standards. Personnel management to include hiring, performance reviews, training, coaching, staff scheduling, payroll, conflict resolution and disciplinary measures. Works closely with clinic medical directors, providers, MSG, nursing and support staff, and with Hospital Finance, Hospital Administration, UUMAS, MSG, IMT, HIM, Patient Access Services, Lab, Radiology and other departments to ensure smooth clinic operations and billing. Recommends and implements policies, procedures, and EMR system changes. Affects operational improvements as necessary to ensure regulatory compliance. Ensures QI/PI initiatives are developed to facilitate patient flow and collection of registration information for delivery/billing for services. Establishes front end activities for new programs/services. Monitors FTE's and expenses for budget planning. Supports operations for hiring, monitoring compliance with completion of performance evaluations and mandatory competencies, assisting with the development of policies and procedures, and other administrative support as needed.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 4 years of progressive related experience OR Associates degree and 6 years of progressive related experience required. Prior supervisory experience required. Exceptional verbal and written communications skills required. Excellent organizational skills required.
Preferred Qualifications:
Knowledge of billing and coding processes preferred.
