Job Summary:
The PAS Manager is responsible for the operation and coordination of assigned areas within Patient Access Services. Accomplishes department objectives by managing staff, planning and evaluating department processes and activities, monitoring customer service and contributing to process improvements.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree with a minimum of two years relevant experience in a supervisory/administrative capacity (preferably related to Admitting/Patient Services or health related call center) or an Associate's degree and four years of relevant supervisory/administrative experience required. Ability to handle to handle multiple projects, computer proficiency, plus written/oral communication, and organizational skills required. Certified Health Access Manager (CHAM) required.•Candidates who do not currently possess CHAM will be required to obtain certification within 2 years of appointment . •
Preferred Qualifications:
Certified Healthcare Access Manager preferred. Scheduling and registration experience using Epic preferred.
Work Days:
Primarily Monday - Friday days. Occasional evening and Saturdays as needed Message to
