Responsibilities:
Performs all division clerical functions, including answering telephones, copying, filing, faxing, and data entry. Responsible for coordinating durable medical equipment ordering and distribution. Contacts third-party payers when needed for insurance authorization. Completes and processes department work orders and follows up on needed repairs. Maintains UKG and reconciles vacation and other time-off requests. Clarifies time-off policies for division staff. Completes and processes payroll. Processes inventory orders and capital budget requests in
INFOR/STRATA.
Coordinates and organizes arrangements for division co-sponsored educational workshops. Covers responsibilities for other division coordinators when they are absent. Contacts patients and/or caregivers to coordinate DME. Performs other duties as directed by the VP/AVP of Inpatient Rehabilitation or another designated person.
Requirements:
High School diploma. Good working knowledge of MS Word, PowerPoint, and Excel for Windows. Previous experience in a health-related setting desirable, with familiarity with medical terminology. Good writing and computer skills. Experience with processing DME preferred. Working knowledge of basic medical diagnoses, ICD 10 coding, medical terminology. Must be able to prioritize effectively and possess high level of organizational ability. Ability to multi-task and adapt priorities in a fast-paced environment. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Must be able to deal effectively with a wide range of situations in a calm and tactful manner. Must be able to work independently.
Work Schedule:
