Temporary (Covering Leave Assignment) Job Overview Navitas Healthcare, LLC is seeking a Patient Coordinator I to support front desk and call center operations in a physician practice. This role focuses on patient intake, insurance verification, scheduling support, and ensuring smooth patient flow in a clinical administrative setting. Key Responsibilities Greet patients in person or handle incoming calls in a call center environment Update patient demographics and insurance information in the system Verify insurance eligibility and confirm physician network participation Collect co-pays and provide receipts following billing protocols Schedule and manage patient appointments and follow-ups Communicate patient arrival and status to clinical staff Maintain and organize medical records and ensure availability for providers Handle HIPAA-compliant documentation and patient information Assist with referrals, authorizations, and insurance-related paperwork Monitor waiting room flow and provide updates on delays Perform basic administrative and clerical support tasks Enter payments or charges when required under supervision Provide excellent customer service to diverse patient populations Required Qualifications High School Diploma or GED required Minimum 1 year of physician office or medical practice experience Strong computer and keyboarding skills Familiarity with scheduling or practice management systems preferred Knowledge of medical terminology preferred Strong communication and telephone etiquette skills Ability to work in a fast-paced, multicultural environment Understanding of HIPAA regulations For more details reach at
