This vital role ensures smooth patient flow, accurate documentation, and efficient management of clinical and administrative processes. The ideal candidate will be energetic, highly organized, and possess a strong understanding of dental terminology, and electronic health record (EHR) systems. As a key point of contact for patients and staff, you will help create a welcoming environment while maintaining compliance with healthcare regulations such as HIPAA. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to quality patient care and operational excellence in a dynamic dental setting. Responsibilities Greet patients warmly, verify insurance coverage, and facilitate patient intake processes efficiently. Schedule appointments using dental office management software such as Carestack, , or Dentrix, ensuring optimal clinic flow. Review and update medical /dental records accurately, ensuring compliance with HIPAA standards. Support clinical staff by documenting patient interactions, and reviewing dental documentation for completeness and accuracy. Manage phone calls with professional phone etiquette across multi-line phone systems; handle inquiries promptly and courteously. Maintain filing systems for dental records and ensure all documentation aligns with healthcare regulations; perform routine audits for accuracy. Provide exceptional patient service by addressing concerns, explaining procedures, and supporting overall clinic operations with clerical support. Requirements Proven experience in a dental office environment or clinic setting with familiarity in dental or hospital workflows preferred. Experience with Carestack or Dentrix is a plus. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to review documentation thoroughly and maintain accurate records. Bilingual abilities are desirable to serve diverse patient populations effectively. Demonstrated competence in computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite; typing speed of at least 10 key digits per minute preferred. Knowledge of HIPAA regulations to ensure patient confidentiality at all times. Strong communication skills with professional phone etiquette; ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Previous experience working with dental terminology ; office management or administrative support background is preferred.
