Full Job Description Job Summary:
The clinical supervisor is a management level position that works in cooperation with the Clinical Director and will be responsible for the Supervision of Therapists, Prevention, and AOD staff. The clinical supervisor is also required to provide clinical services to clients. This position requires about forty (40) hours per week, including at minimum ten (10) billable hours per week for full-time supervisors. Part-time supervisors are required to work about fifteen (15) hours per week, including at minimum five (5) billable hours per week. The clinical supervisor will work in their assigned full/part- time clinical and/or administrative position. They are also responsible for the following: Provide direct supervision (individual and/or group) to supervisees per the State of Ohio Counselor and Social Worker Board guidelines. Review clinical documentation (i.e. diagnostic assessments, individual service plans, progress notes etc.) for accuracy, timeliness and content. Provide case consultation and feedback regarding clinical interventions and other issues raised to supervisees. Promote the professional growth and development of supervisees. Work in collaboration, from a holistic and strength-based approach, with supervisees. Ensure compliance and adherence of culturally specific treatment approach (Optimal Conceptual Theory/Belief Systems Analysis). Ensure compliance of agency policy and procedures. Ensure compliance with state regulations, guidelines and code of conduct. Attend and participate in supervisor's meeting and clinical staff meetings. Report directly to the Clinical Director for supervisory support. The clinical supervisor is knowledgeable about all agency policies and procedures and adheres to such procedures including adherence and application of culturally specific treatment approach (Optimal Conceptual Theory and Belief Systems Analysis). The clinical supervisor is in good standing with their current caseloads and job responsibilities including meeting productivity and accuracy and timeliness of submitting clinical documentation. The clinical supervisor will maintain good standing with the license specific licensing board (i.e.., State of Ohio Counseling and Social Worker Board, Ohio Board of Psychology). The clinical supervisor will demonstrate strong leadership, organizational, interpersonal, time management and conflict resolution skills. The clinical supervisor will use group and/or individual supervision to review cases and concerns of their supervisees. This will also be the platform where supervisees receive instructions/recommendations and information regarding the general operation of MBHG.
Essential Functions and Duties:
Supervise the activities of the therapists or CTs, Prevention, and AOD staff in assigned supervisory group. Supervision includes the reviewing of Diagnostic Assessments, Individual Service Plans, SALs and Progress Notes for accuracy, content, and appropriate contact with clients, case assignment, implementation of the progressive disciplinary action policy and implementation of OCT/BSA.
Qualifications:
At minimum, Master's Degree with an Ohio License in Social Work or Counseling; with Supervision Designation; Ability to supervise Therapists, Prevention and AOD; demonstrated competency in OCT/BSA; cultural competence; experience working with minority populations; completed probationary period with MBHG; and ability to work well with all levels of staff.

The work environment is at any approved site of MBHG, in the schools and in the community.
