This position plays a critical role in helping patients navigate their treatment journey by coordinating care, discussing treatment recommendations, reviewing financial arrangements, and ensuring an exceptional patient experience from consultation through recovery. The ideal candidate is compassionate, organized, detail-oriented, and confident communicating with patients regarding treatment plans, insurance, and financial options. Responsibilities Present and explain oral surgery treatment plans in a clear, professional manner. Review fees, and patient financial responsibility. Discuss financing solutions, if applicable. Schedule surgeries, and follow-up appointments. Coordinate pre-operative and post-operative patient communication. Obtain insurance authorizations when applicable. Serve as a liaison between patients, providers, referring offices, and team members. Maintain accurate patient records and documentation. Partner with Patient Relations Coordinator to assist with referral management and relationship-building with referring providers. Qualifications Previous dental or oral surgery treatment coordinating experience required . Strong computer, data-entry, and typing skills are required . Dental and Medical Insurance knowledge preferred but not required. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong organizational and multitasking abilities. Professional, positive, and patient-centered attitude. Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information professionally.
