Now Hiring:
Licensed Independent Chemical Dependency Counselor (LICDC) Join Our Growing Substance Use Disorder Treatment Team We are seeking a compassionate, motivated, and experienced Licensed Independent Chemical Dependency Counselor (LICDC) to join our Substance Use Disorder (SUD) treatment program. This position offers an opportunity to provide direct clinical services while helping develop and support counseling staff through clinical supervision and mentorship.
Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive substance use assessments and treatment planning Provide individual, group, and family counseling services Facilitate psychoeducational and therapeutic groups Maintain timely and accurate clinical documentation Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans Collaborate with multidisciplinary treatment team members Monitor client progress and adjust treatment interventions as needed Assist clients in developing relapse prevention and recovery management plans Ensure compliance with all state, federal, and accreditation standards
Clinical Supervision Responsibilities:
Provide clinical supervision to Chemical Dependency Counselors, Counselor Trainees, and other clinical staff as permitted by licensure and agency policy Review and sign clinical documentation when required Mentor and support staff in developing clinical skills and treatment interventions Ensure adherence to ethical standards, best practices, and regulatory requirements Participate in case consultations, treatment team meetings, and staff development activities Assist with onboarding and training of new clinical staff Promote quality improvement initiatives and clinical excellence throughout the program
Qualifications:
Current Ohio LICDC license in good standing Clinical supervision endorsement or eligibility preferred Experience providing supervision to counseling staff preferred Experience working with substance use and co-occurring mental health disorders Knowledge of ASAM criteria, DSM-5, and evidence-based treatment practices Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
