Essential Functions:
Serves as the administrative designee during specified hours; communicates issues to administrators, Patient Care Services leadership, program managers, or other appropriate personnel, as indicated; and responds to inquiries and complaints from parents, patients, staff, and the public. Directs the management, communication, and resolution of emergencies and crises utilizing the HEICS model, providing effective leadership; collaborates on decisions, issues, and problems occurring during the designated shift; and responds to code blues, traumas, and other emergencies. Coordinates and directs patient throughput (admission, transfer, and discharge) to ensure needs are met promptly. Provides guidance and education on clinical decision-making and critical problem-solving; supervises and evaluates clinical nursing practice; makes recommendations for improvement; and supports, monitors, and implements planned changes. Provides input into the Patient Care Services administrative budget. Education Requirement:
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN), required. Licensure Requirement:
Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of Ohio, required. Skills:
