As we continue to grow, we are seeking a dedicated and visionary Clinical Director to lead our clinical team and elevate our standard of care. Position Summary We are looking for a licensed and experienced Clinical Director (LISW / LISW-S) to oversee the clinical operations of our facility. In this role, you will provide administrative and clinical leadership, supervise our counseling staff, ensure regulatory compliance, and help shape the therapeutic culture of our center. The ideal candidate is a compassionate leader with a strong background in addiction and mental health treatment, excellent organizational skills, and a passion for mentorship.
Key Responsibilities Clinical Leadership:
Oversee the daily clinical operations of the treatment center, ensuring high-quality, evidence-based care is delivered to all clients.
Staff Supervision:
Provide clinical supervision, mentorship, and performance evaluations for counselors, case managers, and interns (LISW-S preferred to provide supervision hours).
Compliance & Quality Assurance:
Ensure all clinical documentation, treatment plans, and programs comply with Ohio licensing boards, OMHAS, Joint Commission standards, and Medicaid regulations.
Program Development:
Evaluate, refine, and develop therapeutic programs and curriculums to meet the evolving needs of our client population.
Crisis Management:
Provide guidance and intervention in high-acuity crisis situations.
Collaboration:
Work closely with the executive leadership team, medical staff, and administrative personnel to ensure seamless operations and a multidisciplinary approach to care.
Qualifications & Requirements Education:
Master's Degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited institution.
Licensure:
Active, unrestricted LISW or LISW-S license in the State of Ohio (Required). LISW-S is highly preferred.
Experience:
Minimum of 3-5 years of clinical experience in mental health and/or substance use disorder (SUD) treatment. 2+ years of supervisory or clinical leadership experience preferred.
Knowledge:
Deep understanding of DSM-5 diagnostics, evidence-based modalities (CBT, DBT, EMDR, etc.), and Ohio behavioral health regulations.
Skills:
Exceptional communication, conflict-resolution, leadership, and electronic health record (EHR) systems skills. Experience Proven experience in psychotherapy, mental health counseling, or behavioral health settings with a focus on children or families. Familiarity with working with individuals with disabilities or developmental challenges such as autism spectrum disorder or Geriatrics populations. Hands-on experience utilizing EMR systems for documentation and data collection purposes. Knowledge of medical terminology, ICD coding (ICD-9/10), CPT coding, and medical records management. Background in crisis intervention, case management, or hospital-based care environments is highly desirable. Strong understanding of HIPAA compliance standards and medical documentation protocols. What We Offer Competitive Salary:
$65,000.00 to $85,000.00 per year (dependent on experience and licensure). [
