Job Description

Patient Care Coordinator Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Patient Care Coordinator to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will have a background in medical office operations, excellent communication skills, and a genuine desire to support patients. As a Patient Care Coordinator, you will serve as the primary point of contact for patients, ensuring seamless coordination of appointments and administrative support while fostering a welcoming and professional environment. Responsibilities Greet patients warmly and assist with check-in procedures to create a positive first impression. Schedule, reschedule, and confirm patient appointments efficiently using medical scheduling systems. Maintain accurate patient records by updating information. Communicate effectively with patients regarding appointment details, follow-up instructions, and necessary documentation. Provide administrative support by processing payment transactions accurately. Collaborate with medical staff to ensure timely flow for the patient visit. Uphold confidentiality and adhere to privacy regulations such as HIPAA at all times. Assist with inventory management of medical supplies and office materials to ensure operational efficiency. Experience Prior experience working in a medical office environment is highly preferred. Familiarity with a medical spa environment is preferred. Proven ability to provide exceptional customer service within a healthcare setting. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in managing patient records and administrative tasks. Experience supporting medical administrative functions in a healthcare environment is preferred. Office experience demonstrating proficiency with scheduling software and electronic health records is desirable.
