Hospital Admissions Clinical Manager Bethany Children's Health Center - 4.6 Bethany, OK Job Details 8 hours ago Benefits Tuition reimbursement Qualifications Staff supervision RN License English Associate's degree Associate Degree in Nursing Full Job Description The Hospital Admissions Clinical Manager plays a critical role in advancing Bethany Children's Health Center's mission by ensuring patients have timely, appropriate access to inpatient services and coordinated care throughout their healthcare journey. This position provides clinical and operational leadership for the Inpatient Case Management, Inpatient Referrals, and Patient Navigation teams, supporting a seamless continuum from referral through discharge and ongoing care coordination. The Hospital Admission Clinical Manager leverages clinical expertise, critical thinking, and strong leadership to guide decision-making, remove barriers to access, and ensure safe, efficient, and patient-centered processes. This role fosters collaboration across interdisciplinary teams, external partners, and families to promote continuity of care and optimal patient outcomes. Duty Percent of Time Provides clinical and operational oversight of inpatient case management, inpatient referrals, and patient navigation functions, ensuring efficient patient access, appropriate admissions, and continuity of care across the organization. 35% Supervises assigned staff, performance management, coaching, and development. Conducts regular rounding, evaluations, and fosters a culture of accountability, teamwork, and service excellence. 25% Collaborates with internal departments and external partners (referring facilities, providers, and payers) to ensure timely communication, appropriate documentation, smooth transitions of care, and alignment with organizational capabilities and patient needs. 20% Participates in departmental planning, process improvement, and performance monitoring. Analyzes data related to referrals, admissions, denials, and throughput to identify trends and implement improvements. 10% Ensures compliance with regulatory requirements, organizational policies, and documentation standards, including appropriate utilization review and admission criteria. 5% Other duties as assigned. 5%
Education:
Associate Degree in Nursing required, Bachelor's Degree preferred. Ability to speak, understand, read, and write English required.
Experience:
Minimum of four (4) years of experience as a Registered Nurse required. Supervisory or leadership experience required. Previous experience in case management, care coordination, utilization review, or related field preferred.
License/Certification/Credential:
Registration and current RN license in Oklahoma. CPR and PALS Certification. About Us Our work begins where we are all equal - at the heart.
