Patient Care Coordinator -

Job Summary The Patient Care Coordinator is the first point of contact for our patients, in person and by phone. This role is essential to ensuring a welcoming environment, accurate patient information, and outstanding customer service. Key Responsibilities Greet and assist patients and visitors with professionalism and warmth Manage multi-line phones, schedule appointments, and respond to inquiries Register patients; update demographics, insurance, and patient portal Verify PCP, appointment details, insurance, and payment method at each visit Collect copays, balances, and fees; document accurately in EPM Maintain accurate schedules and ensure visit readiness Maintain front desk, waiting areas, and office files Address patient concerns using problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills Follow all company policies, HIPAA guidelines, and security protocols Complete end-of-day tasks and attend required meetings Support clinic operations as assigned Qualifications & Skills Strong customer service and interpersonal skills Excellent communication, organization, and multitasking abilities Professional, dependable, and detail-oriented Comfortable in a fast-paced environment Commitment to teamwork, respect, and continuous improvement Ability to maintain patient confidentiality (HIPAA) Flexibility to meet business needs; travel between clinics may be required Valid driver's license and insured personal vehicle (if applicable) Education & Experience High school diploma or equivalent (required) 6+ months customer service experience (required) Medical front desk or scheduling experience (preferred) PM/EHR experience (preferred) Microsoft Office proficiency and strong computer skills (preferred) Knowledge of medical billing and insurance (Medicare, Medicaid, private payors) preferred Physical Requirements Lift/move up to 25 lbs

$18.54 - $21.82 per hour
