Simply put, as an Administrator in Training (AIT) , you will learn via hands-on experiences that fully submerge you in the day-to-day responsibilities of a Licensed Nursing Home Administrator. This program is a 6-12 month long training course and involves working with a preceptor at an assigned Marquis facility, working in each department, attending additional classroom modules on leadership, and preparing you for the State and Federal Nursing Home Administrator exams. Marquis operates 26 senior care facilities in Oregon, Nevada, California, and provides rehab and pharmacy services across the nation. Qualifications:
A Bachelor's degree required 3+ years of supervisory experience as a department manager in Staffing, Admissions, and/or Social Services in a Skilled Nursing Facility is required. Have resilience and the ability to motivate others. Ability to have difficult conversations with respect and fortitude. Passionate about seniors and helping them live the best rest of their lives! Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
