In this role, you will provide clinical leadership, mentorship, and direct therapeutic services for adults with severe and persistent mental illness, including individuals within Oregon's Aid & Assist population (ORS 161.370). Summary of Responsibilities The Clinical Lead plays an integral role at our Salem Secure Residential Treatment Facility by working in a collaborative team environment to provide exceptional care for adults with severe and persistent mental illness. Both administrative and clinical skills are necessary to ensure that all services provided are efficient and meet the expected quality of Jackson House. The Clinical Lead will be responsible for operational and leadership oversight, communication, and coordination of therapeutic resident care services. Patience, critical thinking, and the ability to communicate both written and verbally are imperative for this role. Using their knowledge, the Clinical Lead will take into consideration the patient's age, mental and behavioral health history, and cultural diversity to provide trauma informed care effectively and respectfully. This role also includes clinical leadership responsibilities such as staff mentorship, documentation oversight, crisis consultation, and coordination with legal and community stakeholders serving

populations. Experience with Medicaid/OHA documentation standards and high-acuity behavioral health settings is strongly preferred. Our smaller 16 bed facility ensures that the Clinical Lead can quickly connect with our staff and patients, guarantee patient dignity, and make a positive lasting impression. Qualifications Master's or higher degree in a behavioral science field (e.g., Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy), required. Active Oregon licensure as LCSW, LCPC, LMFT, QMHP, or similar, required. Three (3+) years of clinical experience with adult and older adult SPMI clients, ORS 161.370 / forensic populations. Two (2+) years of staff supervision in a clinical setting. Knowledge of trauma-informed care, evidence-based practices, and residential treatment standards.
Preferred:
prior residential or group therapy experience. Licensed driver with an automobile that is in good working order to get to and from work in various weather conditions to ensure reliability.
