Job Description

Valley Health Partners, Community Vision Center - Allentown, PA The Practice Director oversees operations within a practice of Valley Health Partners Community Health Center (VHP) practices. Provides leadership and works with colleagues by providing supervision and direction around practice operations as well as instilling the mission, vision, and values of the areas they lead. Ensures patient access, financial performance, efficient operations, effective growth, colleague development, and optimal patient experience takes place. Supports the appropriate growth of services within service line such as supporting the development of business and operational plans, acquisitions, and rationalizing the organization's geographic footprint. Develops the leadership competencies of direct reports with supervisory responsibilities. Plays a significant role on the team to implement changes to meet organizational, operational, and patient centered goals.
Work Experience:
Two years relevant experience in healthcare and supervisory experience directing other's work. Experience in a relevant healthcare practice setting, preferred.
Education:
Bachelor's Degree. In lieu of degree, four additional years of relevant experience, required.
Needed Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Adheres to and oversees the compliance of standard work relevant to the performance of day-to-day practice operations. Fosters a sense of teamwork across practices, leveraging the triad leadership teams. Assumes operational responsibility in the absence of their supervisor or other appropriate members. Demonstrated ability to initiate, accept, and adapt to change. Excellent computer skills, including electronic medical record (EMR) and Microsoft Office suite. Proficiency in both transactional and transformational leadership. Demonstrated ability to navigate and lead change. Demonstrated skill in financial management including budget, budget variance analysis, and action plans. Demonstrated superb communication skills at all levels. Ability to partner with stakeholders to achieve goals.
