Job Description

Outpatient Receptionist and Intake Coordinator
  • Part Time Receptionist Duties:
  • Answer incoming calls and provide assistance to patients
  • Check patients in and out for the healthcare providers
  • Rescheduling patients and collecting copays
  • Coordinate with other internal departments to ensure optimal patient care
  • Oversee office functions and attend to office needs
  • Maintain confidentiality of patients
Intake Duties:
  • Answer incoming calls, checking intake line and returning new patient calls
  • Schedule new patients and enter their information into our EHR
  • Send out new patient paperwork and confirm appointments
  • Coordinate with providers on their availability and changes to their schedules
  • Check insurance eligibility and benefits
  • Complete and send patient record requests
Experience:
  • Previous experience working in the health care or mental health field in an administrative position
  • Familiarity with using an electronic medical records and scheduling system
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
