Job Description

Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated Patient Care Coordinator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional administrative support in a healthcare setting. As a Patient Care Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring smooth patient flow and delivering high-quality care.
Duties:
  • Greet and assist patients in a friendly and professional manner
  • Schedule patient appointments and manage the appointment calendar efficiently
  • Maintain patient records accurately and confidentially
  • Answer phone calls, respond to inquiries, and provide information to patients
  • Collaborate with healthcare providers to coordinate patient care services
  • Verify insurance coverage and process billing information
  • Ensure compliance with medical office procedures and protocols
Qualifications:
  • High School diploma or GED
  • some college preferred
  • Previous experience in a medical office setting preferred
  • Proficiency in medical terminology and administrative tasks
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive patient information with utmost care
  • Willingness to grow and learn new skills in audiology related skills set (audiology practice software, sensitivity to hearing loss, possible career track in hearing care)
  • Basic computer skills (Word, some Excel and QuickBooks) Occasional travel to attend training conferences is required (airline travel, hotel stays), generally 2-3 days, which may include a weekend, once or twice a year.

Potential Incentive/Bonus Pay:
$16
