Job Description

Front Desk Team Manager Birchwood Racquet Club is seeking a highly organized, dependable, and customer-focused Front Desk Team Manager to oversee daily front desk operations and support club programming, scheduling, and member services. This position combines team leadership, administrative organization, customer service, and operational management. The ideal candidate should be comfortable multitasking, handling time-sensitive responsibilities, and stepping into front desk coverage when needed. ResponsibilitiesTeam Management Manage, schedule, train, and support front desk staff Assist with hiring and onboarding new employees Address and follow up on front desk notes, issues, and daily communication Assist with shift coverage and operational support as needed Club Automation & Scheduling Build and manage programs, events, contract courts, lessons, clinics, and court reservations within Club Automation (CA) Update schedules, rosters, registrations, and program information as needed Monitor daily staffing schedules and assist with program coordination Membership & Account Management Monitor memberships and upcoming membership expirations Create and send membership expiration notifications Assist with managing account balances and outstanding payments Contact members regarding declined EFT payments and update payment information on file Review prior-day payments and payment reports Administrative & Operational Duties Maintain and update Birchwood informational materials and systems Assist with contract court organization, roster updates, reminder calls, and schedule changes Delegate and oversee administrative front desk tasks Support overall club operations and member experience Qualifications Strong organizational and communication skills Ability to multitask and manage shifting priorities Leadership and team management experience preferred Comfortable working with scheduling and computer systems Customer service experience required Ability to work independently and problem-solve in a fast-paced environment Additional Information Includes all standard Front Desk responsibilities Evening and weekend availability may be required depending on club scheduling needs Experience with racquet sports is a plus We are looking for someone who is dependable, adaptable, and willing to be hands-on in supporting both the staff and daily operations of the club.
Pay:
From $20.00 per hour
