Role Description The DON / Deputy Administrator (BSN Required) is a full-time, on-site leadership role based in Feasterville-Trevose, PA. The ideal candidate will lead operations and support our mission of providing outstanding care to geriatric patients, children with special needs, and individuals with medically complex conditions in the comfort of their homes. This leadership role is ideal for a professional who combines passion for patient care in home health care setting, clinical expertise, regulatory excellence, and strong business acumen to help elevate the quality of care and organizational performance. This position oversees daily clinical operations, including nursing care delivery, staff scheduling, patient assessments, and care planning to ensure high standards of quality and safety. The role collaborates closely with physicians, nurses, and other team members to coordinate services, resolve clinical issues, and support positive patient outcomes. The DON / Deputy Administrator is responsible for development and implementation of policies and procedures, monitoring regulatory compliance, and preparation for inspections and surveys. Additional responsibilities include mentoring nursing staff, participating in hiring and performance evaluations, managing clinical documentation, and contributing to strategic planning and quality improvement initiatives. As Deputy Administrator, the successful candidate will actively participate in daily auditing activities across all departments. As Deputy Administrator, the successful candidate will play an active role in business development initiatives and organizational growth. Qualifications Active Registered Nurse (RN) license and Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required; advanced degree (MSN, MHA, or related) preferred. Proven nursing leadership experience in both clinical and non-skilled Home Health Care services for pediatric and geriatric patients, with responsibility for supervising staff and overseeing patient care. Strong knowledge of healthcare regulations, accreditation standards, and quality assurance practices relevant to the care setting. Demonstrated ability to manage clinical operations, including staffing, scheduling, resource allocation, and documentation workflows. Excellent communication, coaching, and conflict-resolution skills to support and guide diverse clinical teams. Proficiency with electronic health records (EHR) and standard office software for reporting, documentation, and data tracking. Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail and follow-through on clinical and administrative tasks. Commitment to ethical practice, patient rights, cultural sensitivity, and inclusive, non-discriminatory care. Ability to work on-site in Feasterville-Trevose, PA, with flexibility to respond to urgent clinical or operational needs, supervisory field visits.
