This role is responsible for ensuring the delivery of high-quality behavioral health and treatment services, maintaining regulatory and licensing compliance, ensuring financial sustainability, and fostering a mission-driven organizational culture. The Executive Director functions as the organization's chief administrator and primary community representative. Key Responsibilities Strategic & Organizational Leadership Develop and implement organizational strategies aligned with DTAC's mission, vision, and long-term goals. Lead organizational initiatives, growth planning, and program development. Communicate strategic priorities and expectations across the organization. Operational Management Oversee daily operations for all DTAC programs, including behavioral health, treatment services, and specialized programs. Ensure program quality, adherence to evidence-based practices, and positive client outcomes. Maintain policies, procedures, and operating standards that support efficiency and compliance. Financial Oversight Develop and manage the annual operating budget; ensure financial stability and responsible stewardship. Oversee billing, insurance processes, contracting, grant management, and financial reporting. Identify and pursue additional revenue opportunities, grants, and funding partnerships. Regulatory & Compliance Management Ensure compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local regulations, including behavioral health and clinical treatment requirements. Maintain required licensing, certifications, and accreditation standards. Manage organizational risk, safety practices, and incident reporting processes. Human Resources & Leadership Directly supervise senior leadership and key program managers. Oversee recruitment, onboarding, performance evaluations, corrective action, and staff development. Foster a culture of respect, accountability, integrity, and continuous improvement. Community & Stakeholder Relations Serve as the primary spokesperson and public representative for DTAC. Build and maintain strategic relationships with partners including healthcare providers, government agencies, law enforcement, referral sources, and community organizations. Participate in community meetings, stakeholder events, and partnership initiatives. Required Qualifications Education Master's degree in public administration, Social Work, Psychology, Behavioral Health, Healthcare Administration, or related field preferred. Experience Minimum of 5-7 years of progressive leadership experience in behavioral health, treatment services, healthcare administration, human services, or nonprofit management. Experience managing budgets, supervising staff, and leading multiple program areas. Experience working in a regulated clinical or behavioral health setting preferred. Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities Strong leadership, decision-making, and strategic planning abilities. Knowledge of behavioral health regulations, treatment standards, and clinical compliance requirements. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and conflict-resolution skills. Ability to build effective partnerships with internal and external stakeholders. Strong financial management, budgeting, and data-driven decision-making capabilities. Ability to maintain confidentiality and comply with HIPAA and organizational policies.
