Admissions Director/Liason

Overview We are seeking a dynamic and highly organized Admissions Director to lead our admissions team and oversee the patient intake process across our healthcare facility. This pivotal role involves managing the entire patient admission cycle, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations, and fostering a welcoming environment for patients and their families. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive experience in medical office management, and a comprehensive understanding of healthcare systems, including EMR (Electronic Medical Records) and EHR (Electronic Health Records) systems. Your energetic approach will drive operational excellence, streamline processes, and enhance patient satisfaction from initial contact through admission. Responsibilities Coordinate with clinical staff to verify insurance coverage, manage managed care plans, and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations for patient confidentiality. Utilize EMR/referral systems such as Epic, Allscripts/Careport or Ensocare to accurately document/review patient information and medical records. Facilitate communication between patients, clinical teams, and external providers to support acute care, hospital experience, or dental clinic needs. Monitor utilization management processes to optimize patient care pathways while controlling costs effectively. Experience Hands-on experience with EMR/EHR systems such as Point Click Care or similar platforms. Experience meeting and communicating with multidisciplinary teams within acute care hospitals or clinics with a focus on increasing skilled/managed care along with census growth and stability. Strong understanding of healthcare regulations including admissions paperwork completion, 401 completion, and skilled nursing center experience is highly desirable. $51,207.99 - $65,669.84 per year
