Verona Spay & Neuter Clinic is seeking a Veterinary Hospital Manager to lead daily operations, support our veterinary team, and help expand access to affordable, high-quality surgical care for pets in the Pittsburgh community. About Us Verona Spay & Neuter Clinic is dedicated to improving animal health and reducing pet overpopulation through accessible spay and neuter services. Our team focuses on efficiency, compassion, and exceptional patient care while maintaining a positive and supportive workplace culture. Position Overview The Hospital Manager partners closely with the Medical Director and leadership team to ensure smooth hospital operations, strong team engagement, and an outstanding client and patient experience. You will oversee administrative, financial, and personnel operations while empowering the team to deliver high-quality veterinary medicine every day. Key Responsibilities Lead daily hospital operations and workflow efficiency Hire, coach, mentor, and develop veterinary support staff Foster a positive, collaborative, and inclusive team culture Manage scheduling, staffing levels, and productivity Oversee budgeting, inventory, and financial performance Ensure compliance with medical, safety, and regulatory standards Support client service excellence and community outreach initiatives Partner with veterinarians to optimize surgical flow and patient care Qualifications Previous veterinary hospital leadership experience preferred Practice Manager, Hospital Manager, or strong veterinary supervisory background Knowledge of veterinary operations, staffing, and workflow management Experience with high-volume surgery or shelter medicine is a plus Strong communication, coaching, and conflict-resolution skills Passion for animal welfare and accessible veterinary care Ability to lead with empathy, accountability, and positivity What We Offer Competitive salary based on experience Bonus opportunity tied to hospital performance Comprehensive benefits package Paid time off and holidays Continuing education and leadership development support Opportunity to make a meaningful community impact Why Join Us At Verona Spay & Neuter Clinic, your leadership directly improves the lives of pets and families throughout the Pittsburgh area.
