Job Description
We are seeking a highly organized, motivated, and experienced Office Manager to oversee the daily operations of our busy ophthalmology practice. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership, communication, and administrative skills with the ability to manage staff, support physicians, and ensure efficient office operations while maintaining exceptional patient care standards.
Responsibilities:
Oversee the day-to-day operations of the ophthalmology practice Recruit, interview, hire, and onboard new employees Provide HIPAA compliance training and ongoing staff education Manage employee records, benefits enrollment, and benefit updates Supervise workflow and office performance Coordinate and oversee physician credentialing and recredentialing processes Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, policies, and procedures Assist physicians and staff with operational and administrative needs Monitor office efficiency and implement process improvements Handle employee relations and support a positive team environmentQualifications:
Previous medical office management experience required; ophthalmology experience preferred Strong knowledge of HIPAA regulations and medical office compliance Excellent leadership, organizational, and multitasking skills Strong communication and interpersonal abilities Proficient in EMR systems and Microsoft Office applicationsBenefits:
