Job Description
Odessa Brown Children's Clinic (OBCC) has locations in Othello and the Central District. Services at the clinics include pediatric medical care, behavioral health, dental services, nutrition, sports medicine, physical therapy, occupational therapy and more. Odessa Brown:
to bring quality healthcare with dignity to children from birth to young adulthood in the Central District and south Seattle. Responsible for clinical telephone triage and consultation, child mental health education, and all aspects of the referral process for patients to the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Medicine. Participate in care coordination activities to remove barriers for families to participate in treatment. Specialized knowledge, judgment and skill are required in both mental health diagnosis and treatment methods. Apply the knowledge and skill necessary to provide appropriate interactions with staff, patients and families of all ages.Hybrid Structure:
This is a hybrid position consisting of four (4) days per week on-site and one (1) day remote.Primary Clinic Site:
On-site work is performed at the OBCC Othello clinic.Operational Demands:
Candidates must be able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment and manage stressful situations independently. Required Education and Experience High school diploma or equivalent. Minimum of two (2) years college coursework in Social Sciences or related field. One (1) year of experience in a setting dealing with patients with Psychiatric conditions. Required Credentials N/A. Preferred Bachelor's Degree in Psychology, Social Work, or other related Social Services Degree. Registered Counselor Certification. Compensation Range $26.51 - $39.76 per hour Salary Information This compensation range was calculated based on full-time employment (2080 hours worked per calendar year). Offers are determined by multiple factors including equity, skills, experience, and expertise, and may vary within the range provided. Seattle Children's offers annual incentive pay based upon performance that is commensurate with the level of the position.
