Job Description

Summary:
Reporting to the Program Director/Chief Clinical Officer, the Bilingual Clinical Supervisor is responsible for clinical management of all program related services. Works collaboratively with the Program Director and other clinical staff to develop a comprehensive and well-rounded program. Serves as a member of the Program Committee.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Supports the five core components of the CSC Program, which include support services (support groups and individual counseling), mind-body/healthy lifestyle classes, educational workshops, social activities, and referrals/resources.
  • Supervises clinical staff;
  • Provides direct service for members in accordance with CSC-HQ and local standards, policies, and procedures;
  • Serves as a public voice for programs to various coalitions and local health care organizations as assigned by Program Director.
  • Conducts presentations to the community at large and through one-on-one meetings.
  • Assists in overseeing the clinical components of CSC South Bay's program for people affected by cancer including individual, family, and/or group support and coverage;
  • Recruits and trains clinical staff (MFT, LCSW and LPCC) and interns to provide individual, family, and group counseling services to people affected by cancer;
  • Oversees weekly 1 hour individual or triadic supervision sessions for interns and trainees;
  • Assigns trainees to co-facilitating weekly groups and structures the rotations;
  • Assigns trainees to individual, couples, and/or family counseling participants;
  • Oversee documentation for the short-term counseling program.
  • Collaborates with professional and educational institutions to coordinate CSC South Bay's utilization as a placement site;
  • Other duties as assigned. Direct Clinical Work
  • Serves as substitute groups facilitator when available;
  • Conducts individual counseling sessions when applicable.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
Minimum of two years of supervisory or management experience to include personnel selection, training, evaluation, and management of paid staff, associates and trainees. Responsibilities also include planning, assigning, and directing work. Ensuring compliance with the requirements set forth by the California Board of Behavioral Sciences including maintaining therapeutic counseling records of participants for both group support and individual/family counseling and ensuring compliance with HIPAA requirements for privacy as it pertains to record keeping
Education/Experience:
Master's degree (M.A.) or equivalent; be Licensed for a minimum of 2 years as a LMFT, LCSW or LPCC and completion of 6 hour supervision course.

Certificates and Licenses:
Licensed MFT, LCSW, or Clinical Psychologist in State of California.
Pay:
$45.00 per hour
