Position Overview We are seeking a Clinical Director to support the growth, quality, and culture of our therapy team. This is a part-time, flexible role designed for a seasoned clinician who enjoys leadership, mentorship, and systems development—without the pressure of a rigid schedule. This role is highly collaborative and adaptable, with optional treatment hours depending on your interests and desired balance. What Makes This Role Unique Flexible scheduling that works with your life Part-time hours with room to grow if desired Option to maintain a clinical caseload—or focus purely on leadership Opportunity to shape systems, culture, and clinical excellence Direct collaboration with a supportive, therapist-led admin team Core ResponsibilitiesClinical Leadership & Therapist Support Provide mentorship, guidance, and clinical support to OT and ST team members Support onboarding and ongoing training of new therapists (30/60/90 day check-ins) Serve as a go-to resource for clinical questions, problem-solving, and case collaboration Help therapists grow into their strengths and specialties Training & Development Assist in developing and implementing training systems and materials Support continuing education initiatives and clinical skill-building Ensure therapists feel confident, supported, and aligned with My Recess values Policy & Systems Development Collaborate on creation, refinement, and implementation of clinical policies Identify areas of strain and help develop solutions and workflows Support consistency in documentation, care delivery, and compliance Operational & Administrative Support Assist with oversight of documentation expectations and quality standards Support EMR workflows, efficiency, and accountability (Fusion EMR expierence preferred) Contribute to organization and clarity across systems and processes Collaboration & Culture Partner closely with admin and leadership team on company initiatives Help maintain strong team culture, communication, and "high vibe" environment Model positive problem-solving and collaborative leadership Schedule & Structure Part-time, flexible hours Mix of remote and in-clinic collaboration as needed Treatment hours optional and customizable Ability to scale role responsibilities over time Qualifications Licensed Occupational Therapist or Speech-Language Pathologist Minimum 5+ years pediatric experience preferred Strong leadership, communication, and mentorship skills Passion for team development, systems thinking, and culture-building Ability to think both clinically and operationally My Recess Perks Flexible, family-first scheduling Collaborative, therapist-owned culture PTO accrual based on hours worked Health insurance stipend (for eligible employees) CEU stipend + Professional Support Fund 401(k) through Illinois Secure Choice Wellness-focused culture and optional wellness stipend Opportunities for growth, leadership, and specialization Creative, FUN, and supportive work environment
