Job Description

WHO WE ARE
Just Kids Autism Center is a clinic-based ABA practice in Bloomington built around one thing: showing up for kids and families the way they deserve. Our owner works six days a week alongside her team. We provide food boxes, diapers, and school supplies to the families we serve, not as a program, as a reflex. Our families are predominantly immigrant communities navigating a system that wasn't built for them. We're not a corporate ABA mill. We're a team that cries at the wins because we know what the families went through to get there. Our Clinical Director will be the person who holds the clinical standard for all of it.
THE ROLE
This is a hands-on clinical leadership role. You'll oversee treatment integrity, clinical supervision, and the development of our QSP and RBT/BT team. Ideally while we continue to grow, you carry a small caseload or maintain at least one active client, staying close to the work keeps the leadership grounded. That said, we're flexible on structure for the right person. It's just a thought that we wanted to entertain. We're bringing you in on a contract basis first with a clear path to full-time as census grows. The expectation is that you show up, for the team, for the families, for the clinical standard. In-person preferred; hybrid considered for a candidate who can be genuinely present remotely, not just available.
WHAT YOU'LL OWN
Clinical oversight of all active cases — treatment plan review, program integrity, fidelity monitoring Supervision of QSPs and direct support to RBT/BT staff on clinical skill development New client onboarding — initial assessment coordination, treatment plan development, family orientation Training calendar — building and executing structured staff training, not ad hoc Escalations — you're the clinical decision-maker when cases get complex Documentation standards — holding the team to same-day notes, clean data, no exceptions Collaborative relationship with operations on hiring, onboarding, and compliance
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR BCBA
in good standing — licensed in Minnesota or eligible Experience supervising RBTs and/or BCaBAs in a clinic or community-based setting Someone who leads from the floor, not from a desk Cultural humility is non-negotiable — our families require it, our team models it Bilingual (Somali, Amharic, Arabic, or French) is a significant plus — not a requirement Comfortable in a growing practice that doesn't have every system perfectly built yet
COMPENSATION
Hourly DOE | Contract-to-Hire | Flexible on structure for the right candidate Rate is commensurate with experience, caseload commitment, and hours. We'd rather have an honest conversation than a rigid range. If you carry a caseload, your billable hours count.
