(FCNI) is a mission-driven nonprofit serving children, youth, adults, and families across San Luis Obispo and Northern Santa Barbara Counties. Our team works collaboratively with local county and community-based agencies to provide compassionate, trauma-informed services; including evidence-based mental health treatment, case management, housing and homelessness support, and family-based interventions across Child Welfare, Behavioral Health, and Juvenile Justice systems of care—as well as support for individuals and families experiencing complex challenges who fall outside of these social services. We are currently looking to add a new member to our dynamic Leadership team for the position of a Clinical Supervisor II . The Clinical Supervisor serves a vital role in providing comprehensive clinical oversight and support to a team of registered associate clinicians. This position is responsible for fostering the professional growth and development of associates by guiding them in the application of clinical theory to practice, ensuring adherence to ethical standards, and maintaining compliance with all applicable legal, regulatory, and agency-specific guidelines.

COMPENSATION
Salary range: $79,040
  • $118,560 Full
  • Time/Exempt Spanish Bilingual differential (if applicable)
  • 10% increase on hourly base rate of pay
BENEFITS
Eligible to enroll into benefits on the 1st of the month following 60 days of employment. These are all high quality and comprehensive plans. FCNI will cover 75% of employee's premium and 60% of employee's dependent's premium on the primary plan offered-Cigna PPO Health Benefit, Vision and Dental
PPO. FSA
plans available 403(b) plan which allows employees to contribute a portion of their salary pre-tax toward their retirement with a monthly employer match. Eligibility provisions apply. 13 paid holidays annually 17 days of PTO accrued annually (increases at the beginning of 4 years of service) Mileage reimbursement $0.725 cents per mile. Reimbursement for fees associated with registering and maintaining the professional licenses required of the position (such as BBS licensing fees) FCNI provides free CEU courses for maintaining ongoing education requirements for professional licensure
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
Master's degree in Social Work, Psychology or a related field required. Current active and unrestricted status with the California Board of Behavioral Sciences, as a Licensed;
Clinical Social Worker:
Must be licensed for a minimum of 2 years. Direct experience and knowledge of Behavioral Health and Social Services Core Practices in settings such as outpatient clinics, facilities, and/or community-based organizations Requires demonstrated leadership ability Knowledge of relevant regulations, compliance standards and best practices Must be computer literate with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and knowledge of database and reporting tools Excellent communication skills (verbal, written, and interpersonal) Excellent time management, organizational and multi-tasking skills High level of accuracy and attention to detail Ability to maintain discretion and confidentiality with sensitive information
RESPONSIBILITIES
Ensure supervisees consistently adhere to all BBS legal and ethical standards. Support the development of clinical competencies, including intervention strategies and diagnostic assessment. Complete all BBS-required supervision documentation and maintain accurate, up-to-date supervision logs. Ensure supervision logs are signed weekly. Proactively address any performance or ethical concerns. Attend all scheduled supervision sessions and maintain consistent availability for clinical support. Prepare clinical cases in advance for meaningful discussion during supervision. Document and reschedule any missed supervision sessions within the same week whenever possible. Integrate supervisor feedback into clinical practice to enhance service quality and effectiveness. Communicate any changes to supervision schedules promptly and professionally. Provide support and guidance in managing crisis situations, including risk assessment and safety planning. Ensuring that their staff have the necessary skills and resources to respond effectively to crisis situations. The Clinical Supervisor will complete a brief weekly summary log outlining the key topics, themes, and focus areas. Other duties and projects as assigned.
