Our Intensive In-Home (IIH) and Mental Health Skill-Building (MHSB) programs serve youth and adults with significant mental health needs, providing in-home, community-based care that supports emotional wellness, life skills development, and functional improvement.
Position Overview:
We are seeking a dependable and qualified Contract Clinical Supervisor to support our IIH and MHSB programs. The Clinical Supervisor will be responsible for conducting in-person Comprehensive Needs Assessments (CNAs), supervising Qualified Mental Health Professionals (QMHPs), and reviewing clinical documentation. This is a flexible contract role with competitive pay per assessment and hourly compensation for supervision and documentation review.
Compensation:
$250 per Comprehensive Needs Assessment (must be completed in person ) $45/hour for: Individual and group supervision of QMHPs Review of progress notes, discharge summaries, quarterly reports, and related documentation
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct in-person Comprehensive Needs Assessments (CNAs) for clients referred to IIH and/or MHSB services Provide weekly clinical supervision (individual and group) for assigned QMHPs Review and approve documentation to ensure compliance with DBHDS and Medicaid standards Ensure clinical recommendations meet medical necessity criteria and align with client needs Collaborate with internal teams to support timely service authorizations and continuity of care Complete all required documentation within 24 hours of service delivery Maintain the highest standards of ethical and clinical practice
Qualifications:
Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or a related field Active Virginia license (LPC, LCSW, LMFT, or equivalent) Minimum of 3 years of clinical experience; supervisory experience preferred Strong understanding of Medicaid and DBHDS documentation requirements Must be able to travel for in-person assessments within the Richmond area and surrounding regions Excellent organizational, written, and verbal communication skills
