Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a part time Clinical Supervisor (20-25 hour/week) to oversee and guide our team of school-based mental health therapists. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in clinical practice and a passion for fostering a supportive environment for both staff and clients. This role involves ensuring the delivery of high-quality service, providing supervision, and facilitating professional development within the team. The ideal candidate must be passionate about youth wellness and how mental health counseling can support the well-being of children and their families. Responsibilities Facilitate weekly on-site supervision sessions to discuss cases, share insights, and address challenges faced by staff. Supervise and support clinical staff in their daily activities, ensuring adherence to best practices and ethical standards. Collaborate with school administrators/school counselors with operational issues. Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to promote professional growth. Assist therapists in developing and implementing treatment plans in collaboration with clients, utilizing evidence-based practices. Stay current with developments in the field of mental health, including new therapeutic techniques and regulations. Cultivate and maintain relationships with school districts and other partners. Provide support to therapists in crisis management and complex cases. Ensure compliance with organizational policies, state regulations, and accreditation standards. Participate in school and community outreach efforts to promote mental health awareness and Sage services. Develop and execute strategic communication and branding initiatives to elevate Sage's profile and enhance the agency's visibility and influence. Skills Minimum 5 years of experience providing therapeutic services to youth, including some experience with school-based counseling with previous clinical supervisory experience. Strong knowledge of clinical practices, law and ethics, crisis management and therapeutic modalities. LCSW, LMFT, Psy. D, or LPCC Excellent written and oral communication skills, including public speaking and presentations. Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with clients, staff, and external stakeholders. Ability to foster a collaborative team environment while maintaining accountability for clinical outcomes. Strong organizational skills to manage multiple priorities effectively. Submit and maintain evidence of a current (completed within the last year) negative TB test, maintain clear Criminal Background Check/Fingerprinting, and any other mandatory state/ federal requirements.
