  • December 11,2026).
A Presidential Proclamation issued on September 19, 2025, imposes a $100,000 fee on all new H‑1B petitions filed after September 21, 2025, and Texas A&M University-Central Texas will not pay this fee. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Competent in providing clinical supervision to graduate students (in person and tele-health) on campus in the training clinic. Participates in operational or procedural matters to meet clinic goals and objectives. Participates in evaluation of graduate students. Provides leadership for the clinic along with and in absence of the Director/Assistant Director Provides daily and weekly clinical supervision and guidance to teams of counselors and therapists in training.

Education and Experience:
Master's degree. Three years of related experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy (COAMFTE accredited) or Clinical Mental Health Counseling (CACREP accredited). 1-3 years post graduate experience in community mental health, private practice, or other related clinical experience including therapy services and program management. Licensed as a LMFT or LMFT
  • Approved Supervisor 5 years experience in community mental health, private practice, or other related clinical experience including counseling services and program management AAMFT Approved Supervisor or AAMFT Approved Supervisor Candidate credential COAMFTE accredited background
Knowledge/Skills:
Knowledge of counseling and supervision practice, telehealth, word processing, spreadsheet, and database applications. Ability to multitask and work cooperatively with others. Ability to communicate clearly and effectively to ensure understanding.
Salary:
Commensurate with experience; estimated range of $8,000
  • 11,000.
Work Schedule:
20 hours per week, with hours of work to be agreed upon within the timeframe of Monday-Thursday, 10:00 AM-8:00 PM.
Licensing / Professional
Certification Licensed as a Marriage and Family Therapist or Licensed Professional Counselor in Texas (must carry license by start date of employment) Physical Requirements

Supervision of Others:
This position provides clinical supervision to clinical mental health counseling graduate students, school counseling graduate students and marriage and family therapy graduate students
Work Location:
This is not a remote position. The selected candidate will be required to work on campus.
