We partner closely with programs including the Illinois Department of Public Health (IDPH) and Division of Specialized Care for Children (DSCC) to ensure children receive the skilled nursing support they need to thrive at home. Position Overview The Director of Clinical Services will provide clinical and operational leadership for our pediatric home nursing program. This role combines strategic oversight with hands-on clinical involvement. You'll support nursing staff, oversee patient care and compliance, strengthen referral relationships, and help ensure NursePower continues to deliver exceptional service to the children and families who depend on us. Key Responsibilities Lead and oversee clinical operations for pediatric private duty nursing services. Conduct patient assessments, supervisory visits, and clinical reviews. Provide leadership, mentorship, and accountability for field nursing staff. Ensure Plans of Care are accurate, timely, and compliant with all regulatory requirements. Oversee clinical documentation, quality assurance, and compliance initiatives. Support recruitment, retention, and development of nursing staff. Build and maintain strong relationships with patients, families, referral sources, and community partners. Strengthen and expand relationships within DSCC and related programs. Address clinical concerns and service issues promptly and effectively. Partner with ownership on process improvement and program growth initiatives. Qualifications Required Active Illinois Registered Nurse (RN) license Minimum 3 years of leadership experience in home health, private duty nursing, pediatric nursing , or a related setting Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills. Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities. Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities. Preferred Pediatric home health or private duty nursing experience Experience working with DSCC, Medicaid waiver programs, or similar state-funded programs.
