Job Description

Redemption Earned's Director of Reentry provides professional support and advocacy to individuals who have been incarcerated for many years and are in need of resources, placement in appropriate reentry settings , or referrals to services. The Director of Reentry works under the supervision of the Executive Director and the Parole Attorneys but may also be asked to perform tasks for the WIN Program. Tasks of the
Director of Reentry:
Conduct assessments to identify clients' needs and develop individualized care plans Collaborate with reentry programs to secure placement for clients Work with clients to apply for Medicaid, SSI, Medicare, VA benefits, and other benefits Provide counseling and support services to clients and families Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for clients Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records Advocate for clients' rights and access to resources, including appearance at parole hearings Participate in intake meetings to identify eligible clients Travel to correctional institutions and reentry programs throughout Alabama Help clients secure personal documentation, identification records, and government documentation
Required Qualifications of Director of Reentry:
Master's Degree in Social Work or related field Ability to supervise Social Work student interns Proficiency in social work principles and case management Strong communication skills A true passion for the mission of Redemption Earned, Inc.
Preferred Qualifications of Director of Reentry:
Experience with justice impacted individuals Experience with geriatric clients Experience with unhoused clients Certification to conduct assessments, including
ORAS and ASAM Pay:
$50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
