Healthcare Interoperability Solution Architect / Project Manager

Job Overview We are seeking an experienced Healthcare Interoperability Solution Architect / Project Manager to lead the implementation and support of CMS Interoperability and Patient Access solutions for a large government healthcare program. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in FHIR APIs, SMART on FHIR, healthcare interoperability standards, cloud-hosted API platforms, and healthcare compliance requirements. regulations. Support SMART on FHIR authorization framework and OAuth 2.0/OpenID Connect integrations. Integrate claims, encounters, clinical data, and drug formulary data using

Core IG, and Da Vinci IG standards. Maintain API documentation and developer onboarding resources. Project Management Develop and manage project plans, timelines, milestones, and deliverables. Coordinate with stakeholders, technical teams, and business units. Lead requirement gathering sessions and maintain Requirement Traceability Matrix (RTM). Manage risks, issues, change requests, and project communications. Oversee system integration testing, user acceptance testing, and go-live activities. Security & Compliance Ensure data security, identity management, and consent management processes are implemented. Conduct security reviews and risk assessments for third-party applications. Support member consent tracking and secure third-party data access. Ensure ongoing compliance with federal and state healthcare regulations. Support & Maintenance Provide ongoing system maintenance and technical support. Monitor system performance and maintain 99.9% availability. Support incident management, troubleshooting, and enhancement tracking. Provide training materials, webinars, and end-user support documentation. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Healthcare Informatics, Information Systems, or related field. 7+ years of experience in healthcare interoperability projects.

Strong experience with:

HL7 FHIR R4 SMART

Additional Information Contract duration:

12 months with potential extension options. Approximately 25% onsite travel may be required. Competitive hourly rates based on experience.
