About DMJ Home Health Services At DMJ Home Health Services, we are committed to delivering compassionate, high-quality, and personalized care to individuals in the comfort of their homes. Our team of dedicated professionals works collaboratively to support our patients' health and independence. We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Scheduling Coordinator to join our Nursing Department. Position Summary The Nursing Department Scheduling Coordinator plays a vital role in ensuring the seamless coordination of nursing visits and services across our patient population. This position is responsible for managing and optimizing daily schedules for nursing staff, maintaining open communication with field clinicians, as well as other internal departments, and ensuring compliance with agency policies and home health regulations. Key Responsibilities Schedule nursing visits in accordance with home health industry and agency standards. Coordinate patient visits based on clinical needs, staff availability, and geographic location. Communicate schedule changes promptly to nurses, patients, and appropriate team members. Monitor and adjust assignments to ensure continuity of care and compliance with care plans. Work closely with the Director of Nursing to address staffing issues and patient care needs. Utilize EMR and scheduling software to assign visits to appropriate staff. Qualifications High school diploma required; associate degree or higher, preferred. Scheduling or administrative experience in a healthcare setting, preferred. Familiarity with Medicare guidelines and home health regulatory standards, preferred. Proficiency in scheduling software and electronic medical records (EMR); experience with [Kinnser/WellSky] is a plus. Strong organizational and time management skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision. Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and efficiency. Scheduling or administrative experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in home health. Working Conditions Monday-Friday work schedule.
