Outpatient Mental Health Center Clinical Supervisor Position Overview:
August Rose Health Center is seeking an experienced and compassionate Clinical Supervisor to join our outpatient mental health clinic. As a Clinical Supervisor, you will play a pivotal role in providing guidance, support, and oversight to our team of mental health Intern therapists and mental health therapist. Your expertise in clinical best practices, leadership skills, and commitment to client-centered care will contribute to the overall success and growth of our clinic. Clinical Oversight Provide clinical supervision to our mental health Internship team and Mental Health Clinician Ensure clinical services adhere to professional best practices, ethical standards, and agency protocols. Conduct regular individual and group supervision sessions, offering constructive feedback and guidance. Review and approve treatment plans, session documentation, and client assessments to ensure quality and compliance. Staff Development Mentor and support therapists to promote their professional growth and skill development. Identify training needs and coordinate opportunities for continuing education, case conferences, and clinical workshops. Foster a learning environment that encourages staff engagement, confidence, and competence. Quality Assurance Monitor the quality of clinical services and ensure alignment with regulatory standards and internal policies. Conduct periodic audits of clinical documentation and service delivery. Implement performance improvement plans and corrective actions when necessary. Case Consultation Provide consultation on complex or high-risk client cases to assist therapists with treatment planning and intervention. Promote effective problem-solving and client engagement strategies within the clinical team. Client-Centered Care Promote a trauma-informed, culturally competent, and inclusive approach to therapy. Advocate for the best interests of clients, ensuring that services are goal-driven and responsive to client needs. Support therapists in creating individualized treatment plans aligned with client goals and evidence-based practices. Collaborative Leadership Work collaboratively with the Medical Director, psychiatrist, administrative staff, and other leadership team members. Participate in management meetings, clinic planning, and decision-making to enhance overall clinical services. Ensure effective communication between clinical and administrative teams to optimize workflow and client care.
Requirements:
Master's or Doctoral degree in mental health counseling, psychology, social work, or a related field. Licensure as an LCPC Minimum of 2 years of experience in clinical practice, with a proven track record in therapy and counseling. Previous experience in a supervisory or leadership role, preferably in a mental health setting. Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to foster a positive and collaborative work environment. Knowledge of clinical best practices, ethical guidelines, and industry regulations.
