We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Master's Level Clinician to join our outpatient behavioral health team. This position is ideal for a clinician who is passionate about serving individuals with co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders and enjoys working within a collaborative multidisciplinary environment. Clinical supervision is available through our independently licensed Clinical Director, and clinicians working toward independent licensure are encouraged to apply. Position Summary The Master's Level Clinician provides direct clinical services within an outpatient and Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) setting. Responsibilities include conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, providing individual, group, and family therapy, coordinating care with the treatment team, and supporting clients throughout their recovery journey. The clinician will also provide day-to-day guidance and support to Behavioral Health Technicians (BHTs) and Peer Support Specialists under the direction of the Clinical Director. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive biopsychosocial, behavioral health, and substance use assessments. Develop, implement, and update individualized treatment plans based on client needs, strengths, and goals. Provide individual, group, and family therapy services utilizing evidence-based treatment approaches. Facilitate psychoeducational and therapeutic groups within the Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP). Utilize evidence-based interventions including:
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) Motivational Interviewing (MI) Solution-Focused Therapy Other evidence-based behavioral health treatment models Deliver trauma-informed and culturally responsive care. Assist clients with recovery planning, relapse prevention, coping skills development, and emotional regulation. Collaborate with psychiatrists, nurse practitioners, case managers, peer support specialists, and community providers to coordinate care. Participate in interdisciplinary treatment team meetings and case consultations. Conduct crisis intervention, risk assessments, and safety planning when clinically indicated. Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant clinical documentation in accordance with Medicaid, state, and organizational requirements. Monitor treatment progress and revise treatment goals as appropriate. Provide day-to-day guidance and support to Behavioral Health Technicians (BHTs) and Peer Support Specialists under the direction of the Clinical Director. Maintain professional and ethical standards in accordance with applicable licensing board requirements. Required Qualifications The clinician must hold a Master's degree in a behavioral health field (Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology) and possess one of the following "non-independent" New Mexico licenses: LMSW (Licensed Master Social Work) LMHC (Licensed Mental Health Counselor) LPC (Licensed Professional Counselor) LSAA (Licensed Substance Abuse Associate) — Note:
This license is specific to SUD IOP and has a more restricted scope than the three above. Preferred Qualifications Experience treating co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders. Knowledge of New Mexico Medicaid/Centennial Care and Arizona AHCCCS behavioral health requirements. Experience facilitating therapeutic groups. Experience working with diverse and underserved populations. Bilingual English/Spanish preferred. Clinical Supervision & Professional Development Clinical supervision is available through our independently licensed Clinical Director.
