Position Overview
The MLR Coordinator plays a critical role in ensuring that promotional, informational, and educational materials are reviewed and approved in compliance with internal policies and external regulatory requirements. This individual manages the end-to-end MLR review process, coordinates cross-functional stakeholders, and maintains accurate documentation to support audit readiness and regulatory compliance.
Compensation & Work Location
This position is 100% remote and offers a pay rate of $38 per hour, which is approximately $79,040 annually (based on a full-time 40-hour work week).
Key Responsibilities
Coordinate the submission, review, and approval of claims and promotional, informational, and educational materials through the MLR process
Ensure timely routing and progression of materials through all stages of review
Track and monitor submission status to ensure deadlines are met; proactively escalate delays as needed
Maintain accurate records of MLR decisions, annotations, and version control
Collaborate cross-functionally with Medical Affairs, Legal, Regulatory, Marketing, and Compliance teams
Ensure audit readiness by maintaining organized, complete, and compliant documentation
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Business, Communications, Life Sciences, Marketing, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and relevant experience
Strong ability to manage and prioritize workload in a fast-paced environment
Excellent interpersonal, communication, and teamwork skills with strong attention to detail
Demonstrated adaptability and ability to navigate ambiguity and change
Self-motivated with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively
Preferred Qualifications
1-2 years of experience in a medical device or regulated environment
Familiarity with Veeva PromoMats, including the Text Asset Library
Experience in a promotional marketing environment
Experience with Workfront or similar project management tools
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and document management systems
