Mental Health Coordinator Love Your Neighbor NOLA New Orleans, LA Job Details Part-time | Contract $20 an hour 15 hours ago Qualifications High school diploma or GED Full Job Description Mental Health Coordinator (Part-Time, Hybrid) Love Your Neighbor NOLA is seeking a compassionate and organized Mental Health Coordinator to support community wellness programming and help families connect to mental health resources. This position supports our Community Resilience Workshops and related family-centered programming in New Orleans East. The ideal candidate is warm, dependable, community-oriented, and passionate about supporting families through relationship-based work. Position Details Part-time hybrid position (remote + in-person required part of the week) Based at 5630 Crowder Blvd., New Orleans, LA 8-10 hours per week $20/hour Responsibilities Coordinate workshop logistics and participant communication Send reminders and follow-up communication to families and facilitators Assist with in-person workshop setup and in-person coordination three Saturdays a month Support families interested in accessing community mental health resources Track participation, attendance, and program data Help maintain a welcoming and supportive environment for families Ideal Skillset Strong communication and organizational skills Experience supporting families, youth, or community programming Interest in mental health, wellness, and community-based work Comfortable managing follow-through and working independently Familiarity with Google Drive, email, and basic spreadsheets preferred Preferred Qualifications Experience in nonprofit, education, social service, or wellness-related settings Knowledge of community resources in the Greater New Orleans area About Love Your Neighbor NOLA Love Your Neighbor NOLA is a nonprofit organization dedicated to disrupting cycles of community violence and trauma through family-centered support, mental wellness programming, and tangible resources for families in New Orleans East.
