Do meaningful work. Go home on time — every time. Advanced Manual Therapies is a family-owned, boutique physical therapy and wellness practice in Alpharetta. We specialize in osteopractic physical therapy, medical massage, pelvic floor rehabilitation, dry needling, shockwave therapy, and joint mobilization for a discerning patient population — professionals, athletes, and adults genuinely invested in their health. We're hiring an Office Coordinator to be the warm, capable face of our practice. This is not a call-center job, not a chaotic open-floor-plan waiting room, and not a stepping stone to something else. We're hiring for the long haul, and we want someone who's looking for the same. This is our anchor coordinator role — three consistent days per week, building deep relationships with our regular patients and serving as the trusted operational backbone of the practice. A second part-time coordinator covers the remaining days, so you'll always have a teammate.
  • The Role You'll work approximately 20 productive hours per week on a predictable schedule — typically Monday, Wednesday, and a half-day Friday, with flexibility we'll design together.
You'll be in our Alpharetta office most days, with the option to work from home on occasion. No evenings. No weekends. No on-call.
What your day looks like:
Answer the phone with warmth and confidence — fielding questions about physical therapy, medical massage, pelvic floor therapy, dry needling, and shockwave Schedule patient appointments in JaneApp (our EMR — full paid training provided) Greet and check in patients, manage intake paperwork, and verify insurance Handle light administrative tasks — correspondence, filing, supply ordering, keeping the office tidy and welcoming Be our trusted front-line representative when the provider is treating a patient or out of the office Maintain HIPAA compliance and protect patient confidentiality You'll work alongside one other part-time coordinator who shares the role, so you'll always have a teammate — and real coverage when you take a day off.
  • Who We're Looking For A seasoned professional with the maturity, judgment, and people skills that only come from a long career.
Specifically:
10+ years of professional office experience, ideally in medical, physical therapy, chiropractic, dental, or wellness settings Comfort with medical terminology — you can speak knowledgeably about PT services and treatment modalities without a script Outstanding phone presence — warm, unhurried, professional Excellent time management — you know how to prioritize and stay productive whether the day is quiet or busy Reliability you take pride in — you show up, on time, and you take ownership Basic tech comfort — email, Microsoft Office, scheduling software, willingness to learn JaneApp Local to Alpharetta, Milton, Roswell, Cumming, or Johns Creek — proximity matters Especially valued: background as a medical receptionist, PT coordinator, or healthcare office manager
  • familiarity with HIPAA
  • experience with insurance verification or patient intake.
